And so it begins, another week in Las Vegas, and as we pass the Easter holiday and start edging towards the heat of the summer, we all want to get out of our offices, and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts. Here are a few highlighted events this week, that should be great to attend as a professional or with your family.
Round up the entire family and join the Las Vegas Rotary for their annual block party. This year it is to benefit the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization serving Southern Nevada since 1993. The block party will be held this Friday, April 25 from 6-10pm, and will include raffle prizes and a live auction all to benefit the critically ill children in our community.
From the minds of the Sin City Underground, The Spot is Las Vegas’ long form Improv Show. Recently they moved locations to support a larger audience and keep the costs of attendance to just $10. The unique improvisational forms to please anyone’s comedic taste buds are sure to be a big hit. Held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 8-10p inside of the Sci-Fi Center at 600 East Sahara.
The moving gifts and crafts show featuring handcrafted, locally marketed gifts and merchandise will be at the Fiesta Rancho this week. Bring the whole family as this event is free to attend, and make sure to ask for a demonstration of your favorite products from local Las Vegas merchants. This event will run Friday, April 25 to Sunday, April 27, so be sure to drop in early and find that perfect gift for Mother’s Day just around the corner.
