It’s official, spring is here, and that means that the events will start to pile up. There are plenty of reasons to leave your office, mix it up and mingle with everyone that has been hibernating. Congressman John Kline
Join Congressman John Kline, chairman of the U.S. House Education and Workforce Committee, along with the Las Vegas Metro Chamber as he speaks at a special Eggs & Issues Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Items to be discussed will include some of the most prominent issues and topics impacting our nation’s schools and workplaces. This will be a continuing dialogue for how Southern Nevada can solve some of its most pressing issues, create new jobs and opportunities and create a solid footing in the global economy.
Lake Mead Christian Academy Ribbon Cutting
Recently the Lake Mead Christian Academy near Lake Mead and Burkholder was given the opportunity to “Go Green” thanks to a $150,000 grant from NV Energy, and the solar array, installation, materials and labor were provided by Black Rock Solar. This massive project has been a great experience all the way around for the Lake Mead Christian Academy, lowering their energy usage. Come meet the Black Rock Solar and NV Energy crews along with the LMCA at their ribbon cutting this Thursday, March 20, 2014.
